You cannot kill a virus as it is not actually “alive”. However, you can take actions to render the virus non-viable and no longer hazardous to humans. This is the basis for the HouseCheck protocol.
HouseCheck Environmental draws on the expertise of our highly qualified environmental team. This team includes experts in microbiology, hospital infection control, loss & disaster recovery and disaster logistics & operations. Through this team of specialists, HouseCheck Environmental has crafted a protocol that removes the airborne vectors that viruses travel on and leaves the treated facility in a condition nonconductive to viral viability. Our internal and independent industry experts work with our on-the-ground teams to assure our protocols and procedures fully comply with industry standards outlined by the CDC, EPA, RIA, IIRC, BPI, CICTI, IWA, NADCA and other pertinent agencies.

There is no surface or air test currently available that confirms the presence of the virus. The most current and best practice to encourage de-activation of the virus is to thoroughly clean with an application of an EPA Registered disinfectant. HouseCheck Environmental thoroughly tests for the presence of vectors that can carry viral contaminates and our process employs the most current and best practices to eliminate them.
